Dreams
Ok, so i had this set of two dreams last night.
Here’s one.
I was at Hannah’s house (i know this because it had the little balcony over the living room), except she wasn’t in the dream, nor was her family. I was on that balcony, in my bed from my dorm room. Now, i think i must completely subconsciously hate this bed, because i was trying to knock it over the banister. I eventually succeeded, and it fell magically right side up on the ground below. Then I was pushed down as well, and landed safely in it. Then my father was up above and dropping things on me. Then i woke up.
Then I went back to sleep. Here’s the other.
Here’s the more vague one. I was in my dorm room, and gabor suddenly just got up and left. I got up and followed him down a hall that doesn’t actually exist in our dorm, and then he was sitting in a bathroom studying. I realized in my dream that it wasn’t the guy’s bathroom, so i figured it must have been the girl’s one, so I got up and went back to the room. Once there, i found a whole bunch of gameboy games on my pillow which Gabor had given me in a previous dream, only i remembered the dream so thought it actually happened in the dream and passed it off as normal. Then I went over to my desk (btw, the room was completely misarranged, it wasn’t the way it actually is, it’s the way it was in the previous dream which i can’t remember at the moment.) On my desk was this ATi box, and i could remember at some point getting something, (same previous dream from another night) but couldn’t remember what, so i looked at it… and woke up. Anyone else get series dreams like that?
i also had some fleeting dreams while sleepwalking to class. Anyone ever done that? i think that one’s unique to me. I can start walking somewhere, close my eyes, and actually sleep-walk in a straight line, but then i wake up when i start walking on a slope or incline, or the terrain changes (like gravel/dirt to pavement, or pavement to grass). And i think i dreamt a little about friends from home during philosophy. Why am I so freaking tired today?!
my legs hurt. I’m gonna go massage my feet.
(oh, and chapters 1-7 (approximately 1,500 words/chapter) of “The Courier” are up at http://www.fictionpress.com/~warugikaiu.)

“Thank you, come again.”
i get diddly squat. Try again next time, biotch! ::tries to think of another storyline::
“The Courier” isn’t that great anyway–the ending was rushed. You know what I’ll do? I’ll put it on Fictionpress and you can all see for yourselves, and when I approach the ending, i may start rewriting and DIGITALLY REMASTERING it. or something. I’ll start uploading tomorrow, after my morning class. (so expect the first part around 1:30pm if you’re really anxious to read my stuff)

Teachers I Miss:
ENGLISH DEPARTMENT
Mr. Williamson was by far one of the greatest teachers i’ve ever had. It was in his writing class that I learned to write a new piece of fiction based on anything he came up with, every week. In his AP English class, i (and many others), loved his sense of comedic timing, and awesome ability to let the student come up with all the great ideas for the class, only gently guiding and shaping the thought processes, nothing more. This was an excellent teacher.
But that’s not all… HB’s English department was incredible. Our class was lucky to have Mr. Tulloch, Mr. Fox, and Ms. Illingworth as well. All of them were amazing teachers.
HISTORY DEPARTMENT
I have anthro this year… and well… i never thought i’d say this, but I miss Dr. Suzuki. Oh yeah, and Nellar, ^^. They seriously made a great team. Even though the class was relatively easy, i’ve seldom had as much fun with the subject matter of a history course.
There’s another history teacher i had worthy of a separate paragraph. Mrs. Melanson was almost everyone’s freshman year teacher. She was an excellent teacher for this reason: She started off by ensuring that the students knew where the authority was, and then as the students earned it, she placed trust in their hands. If you generally didn’t have to ‘get away with things’, she’d let you get away with them sometimes. Also, Walkabout was very cool.
But that’s not all, we had many teachers in that department who were amazing. I never had Mrs. Balfour or Mr. Canon, but personably, they were phenominal, and i know that many students loved them. Mr. Mitchell was one of the most bizarre teachers i’ve ever had in that he was predictable, but it was still funny.
SCIENCE DEPARTMENT
Magic Math, Adrian! This was what happened at every one of the physics projects after people figured out i could engineer things. But each and every project was something fun and bonding, and i remember each distinctly and fondly. Mr. Boucher and Mr. Maynard deserve a lot of credit for making a lot of people’s senior years very special, and teaching a good deal that I remember, too.
Also: “Hey, it’s Rupper.” Mr. Rupp did something very improbable: he made honors chem fun and interesting. And Tara didn’t burn anyone. And several people did the best impersonations ever. Especially Kong. Where’s my pepsi?
MATH DEPARTMENT
Mrs. Duffy and Mr. Nagy were my favorites from this department. I loved the first’s teaching style, and had I worked as hard as she told me to, i would have handled the latter’s class a whole lot better. But because of these, i’m actually enjoying my math class.
COMPUTER SCIENCE DEPARTMENT
Mr. Quinn… need I say more? I miss you, Quinn. In fact, this year i’ve done little more in judging my comp sci teacher than comparing him to Mr. Quinn. I’m also going to put here Mr. Rosenberg, even though he had technically his own department in PLTW. Rosenberg had a few twitchy moments, but I thoroughly enjoyed his classes, and i loved being involved in FIRST Robotics with him.
